Consumer Reclaim team fight for improved offer, settle more than £23k for customer

Our team has recently achieved a fantastic settlement for one of our clients. After our initial complaint the client received an offer of circa £2,500 in loan reduction plus a refund of approximately £11,000 with an additional £200 for trouble and upset.

However, we were adamant our client was due more monies due to the blatant mis-selling and negligence of the original merchant. As a result of us providing further evidence to the lender and Financial Ombudsman, we were able to achieve a much improved offer of an approximately £5,000 loan reduction and a refund of over £18,000, with the additional £200 trouble and upset payment. Our persistence improved our client’s offer by over 70% as compared to the original. Total settlement in excess of £23,000 total.
