Mum left “suicidal” over crumbling council house with ceilings collapsing over son’s bed.

MUM-OF-ONE has been left “suicidal” over her “crumbling” council house with cracks so bad the ceiling has “bowed” over her 13-year-old son’s bed.

Karyn Weedon, 37, claims she has thrown all her furniture away because of the plaster dust at her two-bedroom home in West Wickham, Kent.

She said the dip in her son’s ceiling – caused by cracks in the plaster – has left her so scared she won’t let him sleep underneath it at night for fear of it caving in.

Instead, Karyn and her son, 13, are sleeping together on the floor of her bedroom in the house – which they moved into 12 years ago.
